Handy product.
These adapters allow me to use my CX bike for commuting to work (about two miles) without having to wear my SPD shoes and carry my work shoes. They tend to hang underneath the pedal so clipping in normally is not a problem wearing SPD shoes but you need to flip them over with your toe when wearing normal shoes. They effectively lower the saddle height so wouldn't like to go too far using them but they do the job.
