Its striking design consists of a crystal clear acrylic centre piece that houses separate salt and pepper wells plus a top and bottom mill part; white for salt and grey for pepper. The ceramic mechanisms provide consistent grinds and are adjustable from coarse to fine. Both mills use the Cole & Mason diamond-sharp ceramic mechanism meaning they are interchangeable with being filled with either salt or pepper.
