Role Purpose
The Internal Audit Specialist is responsible for executing field work and identifying findings to the Internal Audit team. He/she provides support in order to identify company's risks and suggest recommendations to mitigate them and reduce company's losses.
Key Accountabilities
  • Compose comprehensive segments of audit programs and audit reports which are in line with audit principles and standards
  • Implement audit program reviews and testing in line with audit principles and standards
  • Collaborate with internal audit team members to ensure that proper audit fieldwork is conducted
  • Coordinate with relevant staff and departments to extract necessary data and information
  • Prepare list of audit findings and recommendations prior to the issuance of draft audit reports
  • Obtain understanding of business processes and document minutes of meetings
  • Participate in the discussion of findings and results during meetings
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 2 to 4 years experience in a related field; IT audit & retail experience are a plus
  • Professional qualification is a plus (CIA, CPA, ACCA)
  • Fluency in English
