This is environment-friendly viscose produced from certified wood pulp obtained from forests managed in a sustainable way that guarantees their reforestation. Production of the fibre is a closed loop process that helps reduce carbon dioxide emission by up to 50% and limits the quantity of generated water contaminants as compared to the conventional viscose production process. LENZING™ ECOVERO™ is certified by EU Ecolabel and as such meets high environmental standards in terms of production process – from obtaining raw materials to their distribution and utilisation. Cellulose fibre is biodegradable and does not pollute water with microplastics.
