Making dyes more environmentally-friendly
Our teams work on finding innovative processes that reduce the use or pollution of water during manufacturing. The dope dyeing technique (mass pigmentation) saves up to 60% water and significantly reduces CO� emissions. This also reduces colour fading over time.In 2019, we started using this process on the black, navy, red/grey, denim, green/blue versions (efforts to master this technique on other colours are still continuing).
How is volume measured
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method we fill the main compartment, as well as each pocket, with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in litres.
