Reducing the risk of chafing
As well as the double thickness design, we have selected a technical yarn with a specific coating (PTFE) that reduces rubbing and therefore the risk of blisters. In no circumstances do these socks provide 100% protection from blisters. Blisters usually appear when our skin is weakened by chafing, generally caused by socks, shoes or foreign bodies. Humidity also plays an important role as it weakens our skin
Choosing the height of your socks
We offer 3 lengths of hiking socks. “Short/low” goes slightly above the shoes but under the ankles. “Medium/mid” protect your ankles and stop just above them. These 2 lengths are sized to be worn with low shoes. “Tall/high” are perfect to wear with high-top hiking shoes as they stop just below the calf.
How to correctly select hiking socks
Each of our sock sizes fits 4 shoes sizes (3/5, 6/8, 9/12, 13/15). We use elastane in all our socks so they adapt to feet and remain in place. We all have different size feet, in length, proportion and volume: that's why it’s important to try on your socks before going hiking
