Batting for Thermal Insulation
Thermal insulation allows little skiers to benefit from the right temperature. The product adapts to the body temperature and the external environment. Wedze uses batting insulation to retain body heat. This polyester-based synthetic component stores more or less air depending on the size of the fibers. Thus, a thicker batting will retain more air and will be more insulating.
Protective Layer
The protective layer is a waterproof material, located on the inner side of the outer material. It does not allow water to penetrate the material, but evacuates perspiration. Thus, the skin remains dry while skiing.
Sealed Main Seams
In addition to the waterproof material, the tightness of the suit is improved by sealed seams. These are waterproof adhesive tapes applied to the inner seams for optimal tightness. Sealed seams in the areas most exposed to snow: the buttocks area.
Resistance
Well-sharpened skis can sometimes tear or cut the bottom of the ski suit. That's why Wedze added performance reinforcements to prevent unraveling. These reinforcements are found in the most exposed areas: knees, buttocks and lower legs.
