These swimming armbands are suitable for kids weighing 11 to 30 kg moving around in the water for the first time. This is the phase of discovering the water.
The stages of aquatic awakeningThere are 3 stages to discovering water:
- Familiarisation: build trust and overcome apprehension through fun games. The kid gets used to water.
- Immersion and breathing: control your breathing to feel safe and put your head under water.
- Floating and moving: develop independence and discover how the body behaves in water before moving around alone.

These armbands fall under the “familiarisation” stage.
Very good buoyancy in the arms allows the kids to keep their head above water. They gradually gain confidence during their aquatic discovery. The kid moves in the water more in the vertical position by moving their legs.
Inflate one chamber, put the armband on the upper arm and inflate the other.

How does the valve work?Our armbands have PVC one-way inflation valves.
To inflate the armbands correctly, press the base of the valve to open it.
The valve closes mechanically in about 2 seconds. As such, it is normal for a bit of air to escape after inflation. This is why you must close the cap quickly.
There could be a valve malfunction. The valve is not closing normally. Too much air is escaping before the cap is closed. To replace it correctly, pinch the valve 2 or 3 times with your fingers, then inflate the product to the maximum and close the cap. The flap should reposition itself properly.
Recommendation to avoid premature discolourationAfter using them, rinse your armbands. Do not leave them in direct sunlight.
