How does the fleece fabric insulate against the cold?The secret of fleece fabric for retaining warmth lies in its brushed structure, which is able to trap air. The fabric then uses the insulating power of air to create a thermal barrier that retains body heat.
Why breathable trousers?When hiking or doing outdoor activities, children are active and inevitably sweat. So, to keep these trousers comfortable even during intense effort, we designed them with breathable fabric. Like magic, it easily wicks away perspiration and keeps your child dry.
What is the RET index?The breathability of a fabric is measured by its evaporative resistance RET (ISO 11092 standard): the lower it is, the more breathable the fabric. Examples: RET < 9 (very breathable), 9 < RET < 12 (breathable), RET > 20 (poorly breathable). This fleece has an RET index of 6.3.
Practical trousersWe know that when hiking, the weight and bulk of a backpack matter. That’s why these hiking trousers are very lightweight, so they are barely noticeable in the bag. Their compressible fabric also makes them easy to pack without taking up too much space.
How is durability evaluated?We ensure the durability of our products through rigorous testing. We check resistance to: - fabric pilling; - colour fastness to washing; - fabric resistance to repeated washing; - fabric resistance to abrasion and friction using a Martindale test.
What sizes are available?These fleece trousers are available from 2 to 6 years.
How to care for the fleece trousers?Because we know children aren’t afraid to get dirty, these fleece trousers can be washed at 40°C. Just remember to turn them inside out before washing. Do not tumble dry.
