Our 500 clipless flat pedals are made from aluminium for adults doing recreational or sport mountain biking, or indoor cycling.
With one flat side and one clipless side, the combination pedals can be used with all sorts of bikes: recreational or sport mountain bikes; hybrid bikes; road bikes; and exercise bikes.

How to remove these pedals
Position your bike stably and at the right height on your bike workstand.Using a pedal spanner (ref:8938257) remove your pedals.Please note that the left pedal unscrews clockwise, and the right pedal anti-clockwise.
How to assemble these pedals
Each pair includes a left pedal (marked with a L or with marking) and a right pedal (marked with a R or with marking).If in doubt, check the packaging.Apply grease (Ref:8874174) on the pedal thread to prevent jamming.Using a pedal spanner (ref:8938257) to screw in:Right pedal (R):Screw in clockwise. Left pedal (L):Screw in anti-clockwise.
Adjustment
The holding and release tension of the SHIMANO SPD compatible cleat can be adjusted to suit your preferences.
Security
When learning to use clipless pedals, make sure you plan ahead each time you want to unclip and put your foot down (at traffic lights, when stopping, or when there's an obstacle in the way). If you aren't yet completely at ease with cleats, you might want to use the flat side of your pedals on the more technical sections of your ride.
