User-friendly and educationalWe’ve designed this board to be as intuitive and practical as possible, making it easy to catch waves and learn to bodyboard as you progress. This bodyboard for beginners has an ergonomic preformed deck, making it easy to position your body, arms and elbows naturally. Information about user size and wave size are written directly on the board. With the leash provided, this board is ready for its first session!
Designed to be used for intended sizes and conditions: Beginner level.This yellow bodyboard 100 for beginners, complete with leash, is ideal for use in waves of all types (foam, mushy, hollow) up to 1 metre maximum.
It has been tested and approved in these conditions, by real beginners as well as intermediate and advanced bodyboarders.
If this bodyboard is used in waves over 1 m (chest high) it could become damaged: breaks, bending...
For bigger waves, we recommend the bodyboard 500 or 900.
When the water is deeper than your navel, it’s very difficult to catch waves without the help of fins. This is because it is no longer possible to propel yourself by pushing your feet off the floor, and paddling with your arms is insufficient.
We have observed that with fins, you will catch 2 to 3 times more waves and have more fun!
Fins allow you to move faster and considerably increase propulsion when taking take-off.

The deck (top) of the bodyboard is preformed to allow hands and elbows to be positioned correctly. When catching the wave, both hands are placed in front. To go left, keep your left hand in front (hand, elbow and shoulder should be in line, elbow at 90°, chest lifted) and move your right hand down onto the right rail in the middle of the board. Stretch out your left leg in line with the left rail to hold your direction. To go right, do the opposite.
Recommendations for avoiding chafing and having the best grip on your board.This bodyboard is used lying down. It is important, and we strongly recommend, that you wear a long-sleeved UV-protection top or a neoprene wetsuit to prevent chafing on the stomach and arms. For a good grip on the bodyboard, we recommend applying wax (available to purchase separately in the surfing department) to the deck, particularly on the front of the board where your hands go, on the sides (rails) and under your belly. Do this for each session.
With its leash and bright yellow colour, this bodyboard is ideal for discovering this water sport. Designed for 6-to-10-year-olds and for small waves or foam (broken waves).
