Wind resistance

We test all our living rooms in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The goal is to expose each side of our living room to the same wind intensity.Properly pitched, with the guy ropes deployed, this living room remains habitable in wind speed 7, measured at 60 km/h.Feel free to re-inflate your inflatable poles regularly during your stay at the campsite (7 PSI).,

We test our living rooms to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, equivalent to 200 mm tropical rain per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This living room is fitted with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet measuring 2,000 mm. It also has seams that have been waterproofed with heat-sealed strips, and a 140 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.,

As designers and users who love nature, we care about the durability of our products. That's why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable hoops are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on our website.,

Almost perfect
This is a great shelter, providing plenty of usable space. We butted it up to our air bream tent and it doubled our living area. Material felt good quality and the ground sheet was excellent. Would have liked a few more Velcro attachment points on the sides of the ground sheet to help with a bit of drafting in the evenings. Also it would be good to have had a eyelet or tie back loops mid way on the side openings so you could un do half a door, but thats minor. Wasnt as easy to put up as Id expected. We needed two people. Im a seasoned camper but just couldnt do this in my own. But packed away easy. I switched the guy ropes for brighter colours too as I found the white dirty too easily and are hard to see in low light. My only gripe is more with decathlon. I purchased ours at full price. But opened the tent up in our trip away to find out it had most definitely been used and put up outside before. Grass on the fly and a stain on one of the uprights. At this price youd expect an unused product! We were too far from a store to return.
Good enough to sleep in!
I am so impressed! I put this up on my own in the garden to test it. This gazebo is so much better than I expected, really good size rain protection over the sides. The three sides that open also have mesh windows allowing good air flow on a very humid evening! The rain protection around the floor is as good as any can go tent Ive used too. We plan to use this for day time but I would have no concerns with using as a tent!
Fantastic shelter, groundsheet is a great addition
Having had a Coleman event shelter for many years I wanted an air beam outdoor living space that I could put up myself. This shelter is excellent, easy to erect, complete with a really good quality groundsheet and in 30deg heat having a couple of side panels done up is instantly cooler.
First trip out and great expectations. However, 40 mins and only partially inflating so can only assume a leak. Completely wrecked our plans and for the price I expected at least a full test before despatching to a customer.
Well thought out multi use shelter/tent.
Bought to replace a much loved but defunct Coleman Event Shelter which was fantastic, so this was up against stiff competition. As a shelter it is on the small side at 3x3m, but the walls are near vertical so all that space is useable, unlike the Coleman. Bearing an air frame It goes up easy as long as you peg it out first. Doable by 1 person. Fully guy it out for stability and it is solid with the great pegs supplied. Huge bonus that it comes with 4 walls, something that could set you back another 100 for the Coleman. 1 fixed blank wall to provide shape and stability and 3 that unzip and lash to the poles. These 3 then have very generous two way zipped panels that reveal fly mesh and really work to vent the structure, providing shade and air. The canopy kick outs provide the extra drip protection from rain and the taped seams kept the whole thing dry in torrential downpours. Doesn't appear to heat up too much underneath it in the sun. What really adds to the slightly pricy package is the removable groundsheet. Very tough plastic, not cheap tent fly material, so no Holly leaves poking through. It rises up about 3-4 inches all round and clips to each pole at the corners, then velcros to each wall in the middle. The result, whilst not sealed, is very similar to the sewn in bathtub groundsheets of modern tents. This means your occasional garden shelter suddenly becomes a quick and easy, DRY, base tent. Set it up for dining or as a kitchen, remove the groundsheet for dumping in the kids bikes or leave it down to create a play area keep mess out of your tent space. Heck fold the groundsheet back and have half and half. Ideal addition to a couple of backpacking or pup tents for when you want to stand up or sit out on longer trips. Or use it as a quick weekend away all in one solution, makes an ideal family festival tent and easily takes 4 adult sleeping mats with room for bags and food. Light hook in the centre, but no pockets. Deflates quickly and packs away easily, even with room to add a pump. It doesn't come with a pump though,, which is not clear in store, but at an extra 20 this is actually a bonus as the valve is a common air tent design so we had one from a Zempire tent that fit. Quids in. Overall a cracking multi use solution, but actually is a success in all areas. P.S. There are toggles inside but no reference to them in the instructions. I'm guessing it could be to hang a bedroom compartment inner thing, should Decathlon choose to make and sell as an add on later. If priced well it would be a nice addition to extend functionality further. (@Decathlon did you make a note of that guys, just saying, you know if you need someone to test anything?)
