How is heat insulation tested?We’ve tested this food storage container in the lab according to the EN 12546-1 Standard, at an ambient temperature of 20°C, and filled to capacity. The time it takes to drop from 95°C to 50°C (drinks temperature considered warm enough to drink) is 29 hours.
The secret of this insulated flask?This insulated flask’s stainless steel double wall with vacuum blocks heat by conduction and convection. A thin layer of copper reduces thermal exchanges by radiation.
A few tips to improve thermal insulation: fill your bottle with hot water for 5 minutes, replace the water with your hot liquids, then close. The fuller the bottle, the better the heat retention.
Warning: the flask is very insulating, liquids remain hot for a long time.
This bottle is equipped with clever accessories. A cap that opens with one hand thanks to its convenient latch. A removable tea filter, ideal for infusions. Be aware that if you remove the filter after immersing it in hot water, it may be boiling hot to touch. And finally, two double-walled stainless steel cups screw directly onto the flask for easy transport!
Is it easy to transport?To make it easier to carry this insulated flask, like for serving, we’ve added a rigid handle on the side.
First useRinse the entire product 3 times with clear water before using for the first time.
How do you look after it?To clean the insulated flask, just clean with soapy water and a sponge. It is also dishwasher-safe. And for even easier maintenance, the body of the flask is fitted with a removable part that allows you to access the bottom, for a more thorough clean.
About the materials?Our products are Bisphenol A-free (BPA) and they comply with food standards. Made of 18/8 (304) stainless steel, this insulated flask guarantees optimal safety. Its polypropylene lid is heat- and shock-resistant.
