Sun protection and new interior finish

UPF 50+ component: blocks at least 98% of UVB rays and 95% of UVA.We have changed the interior finish, or coating. It is now white for optimal protection on all colours.

Behaviour when in the sun

Although this parasol provides protection from the sun, other factors such as reflections (from water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, and so on, must be taken into account. The use of this shelter does not exempt the user from following the relevant advice: wear a UV protection T-shirt, wear sunglasses, wear a hat or cap, regularly apply an appropriate sun cream, drink regularly, etc.

Resistance to wind

The Paruv 125 parasol is resistant to wind speeds up to 20 km/h when the base is buried in the sand to a depth of 25 cm.The addition of an orange spiral base (purchased separately) can increase the wind resistance by a further 10 km/h.
