To Limit The Environmental Impact Of This Strap, We Used A Dope Dying Technique: 55% Of The Fabric Colour Is Achieved Through Dope Dyeing. The Colour Pigments Are Integrated Into The Thread Manufacturing Process As A Powder, Rather Than By Soaking In Dye Baths As Is Usually The Case. This Technique Reduces Both Water Consumption And Wastewater Linked To Fabric Dyeing.
A Responsibly Designed Strap
Textile Dyeing Is A Process That Uses A Lot Of Water And Produces Wastewater From The Dye Baths. We Have Therefore Chosen To Dye Our Strap, Which Means Adding The Pigment When We Make The Thread Itself.
