Jim Dunlop MXR Fullbore Metal Pedal

The M116 Full bore Metal Pedal from MXR was designed to deliver the most destructive contemporary metal guitar tones with a lethal amount of high gain. A built-in switchable noise gate limits noise associated with peak gain levels, and 3-band EQ with sweepable midrange provides greater tone control. A footswitch toggles the effect in and out of the bypass, and when the effect is on, a red LED illuminates directly above the switch.
Full bore Metal includes six control knobs to shape your sound: Volume adjusts the overall effect volume, Freq selects the midrange frequency (200 Hz to 5 kHz) to change by mid-control, low-end volume Adjusts, determines the high end volume, and controls the amount of gain distortion. In addition, a scoop button increases the high and low, and the gate button activates the noise gate. A dedicated red LED indicates when the scoop button is engaged, and a green LED lights up when the gate is activated. An adjustable noise gate trigger located inside the pedal can be used to set the sensitivity of the noise gate. Pedal a single 9V battery or AC adapter such as Dunlop ECB003 / ECB003E, or DC Brick power supply (sold separately).
