Let down by a really bad saddle
One the whole the bike is pretty good but is let down by a very uncomfortable saddle which makes journey's of more than a mile or so almost impossible. Given the cost of the bike and its intended usage I would have though that Decathlon would have fitted a better, more comfortable saddle.

Brilliant bike
I started cycling again after decades of not (I�m now 41 and last cycled daily when I was in high school). I tried a few bikes before I sat on the 700 and the moment I sat on it, I knew it was �my bike”. I absolutely love everything about my bike. I actually can�t wait to ride it. Last week I didn�t drive my car once (and I love my car, too!) The 700 is light, manoeuvrable, capable, fast and extremely fun to ride. The single gearing is perfect and inspires so much confidence from its simplicity. I changed to a 60� gel seat as soon as I purchased it as I knew the seat would not be comfortable long term. I have quite severe back issues. I ride to school with my daughter every day (6km on dirt roads) and we�ve done 25km of trails in the last few days. The perfect bike for me.
