In theory, this pack would be great - unfortunately it has a few major drawbacks. 1) It's too big. To find out your size you're asked to measure your waist - mine is 82cm which means I'm at the top end of the M/L size - but the M/L pack is too big for me. It's workable if the pack is full, but if it's on the empty side it's just way too big. Not sure why you need to measure the waist rather than the chest, maybe this would be more informative. 2) The tube holder for the hydration pack is magnetic - which sounds like a great idea, however this can depolarise your compass and in the worst case can mean you get lost and hurt or in the very worst case you die. Not a great prospect. The 10l version of this pack comes w/o the magnet which is so much safer and doesn't really impact the usability of the hydration tube. I did contact Decathlon Customer Support to see if I could get a non-magnetic tube holder as replacement part. It took 4 months and numerous messages until Decathlon finally said they can't help with this. What a waste of my time. 3) The hydration pack tastes horrendous. Again, the 10l version had a taste-neutral hydration pack, but this just tastes horrible. It would be amazing, and with a few little alterations it could be great. It's an absolute shame that Decathlon can't get the sizing right, and can't help in sorting a non-magnetic tube holder.
