The Kiprun KD 800 Replaces the Kiprun Ultralight. What's the Difference?

As a result of certain customer reviews, we changed the foam to provide a softer running experience thanks to its softer cushioning. We also changed the outsole for greater resistance.

To help you develop and improve your time from the 10 km distance to the marathon distance, the Kiprun KD800 provides propulsion (acceleration) with every stride thanks to the UP'BAR technology, which is a piece of TPE (Pebax) located under the sole.

Why Choose a Lightweight Shoe?

The research and development studies have shown that a lighter product improves running performance by reducing energy consumption. To design the Kiprun KD 800, without compromising on comfort and robustness, lighter components were used as well as an optimised sole design. As a result, the Kiprun KD 800 shoe is the lightest model in the range, weighing 176 g in size 5.

Excellent Road-Holding Ability on Wet Roads and Bends

Our sole is designed like a car tyre for running performance without losing control in wet conditions. The new sole geometry combined with a new rubber component gives the Kiprun KD 800 excellent grip on wet ground, even when running at top speed.
