We carry out lab tests to approve the different components fabrics, buckles, straps, foams, zips, etc. For a fabric, for exampletear/abrasion resistance, colour fastness to washing and in UV light, waterproofing, etc.The finished product then undergoes an accelerated test replicating the stresses on the bag over several years to test the strength of the assembled parts. The pack is filled with weights and placed on a dummy that replicates a fast walking motion, repeated thousands of times.
