Pitching/striking

Standard dome assembly the bedroom is pitched with the poles, and the flysheet is then fastened on top.Reverse procedure when dismantling.If it is windy it is advisable to attach the guy ropes that are provided in the tent bag.,

Mattress compatibility

We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or trekking mattress measuring a maximum of 65 cm wide.We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses above 6 cm deep in this tent due to the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.,

Ventilation

1 upper rear air vent. Correctly position the lateral tent pegs to maintain a space between the flysheet and the ground all around the tent. The good air circulation between the bedroom and the flysheet will limit the natural phenomenon of condensation.,

First choice.
Extremely solid, waterproof, great sleep. Moderate weight. Only drawback the zip. If your feet get muddy, or any tiny mud particles, grit get on it, if you find it catches slightly it will often rapidly catch more, go wonky and no longer line up so even if you can pull the zip tab, it stays open behind. I've had 5 that's both how good the tent is but also zip failure. Keep it clean and no zip failure, but camping not usually clean.

A good all round starter tent
I purchased this tent for two young girls undertaking their first DofE (Bronze) expedition. They were inexperienced trekking and camping. Although they found it slightly heavy for their size and fitness over the distance and terrain, they managed to carry it by sharing the load. They erected the tent easily enough without training/practice. This tent appears ideal for their first, expedition but if they decide to join more advanced expeditions I will invest in more technical equipment. It appears robust so will probably be useable for short camping trips over the next few years. I will probably use it myself for short solo camping trips when my car. Personally, I wouldn�t pack it to carry over a long distance but was ideal in terms of price and practicality to give the young people an outdoor learning experience.

Compact camping
Super value lightweight dome tent. Not been tried yet in bad weather. Fly sheet is a little short on the back so that is where I peg it first to stop dripping on to the inner tent.

Great quality tent for the price
Exactly what I was looking for which is for teenagers (1 each although it could sleep 2 without much spare space) alongside our campervan. Seems very sturdy and of good quality, easy to erect and pack away. Good space for small footprint, porch ok for shoes etc. Height is good compared to alternatives. We'll designed only minor negatives could do with another peg loop at rear to keep flysheet off inner in wind, zip is 1 way only, fiddly to tie inner door open on it's own, could do with a dedicated hook.
